Onyx Solar has a solid shareholder base that provides it with the necessary long-term stability to undertake large projects. Behind Álvaro Beltrán and Teodosio del Caño, founders of the company, is the JME fund led by José Manuel Entrecanales (major shareholder of Acciona). The company's shareholders also include major businessmen such as Christian Gut (Prosegur's largest shareholder), as well as leading figures from the financial sector such as Jaime Castellanos (Chairman of Lazard) and Claudio Aguirre (Chairman of Altamar Capital Partners).
