The photovoltaic installation has been carried out in the main Skylight of the Almería town planning headquarters, where the old conventional glass has been replaced by photovoltaic glass capable of generating energy.
This new spacious and bright building with a constructed area of 3.043 square meters, equipped with offices, multipurpose rooms, and archives, will house the offices of the Urban Planning Department.

Onyx Solar has supplied rectangular Amorphous Silicon Photovoltaic Glass of different varied dimensions of approximately 1300-1900x1000 mm and with low transparency for its main Skylight.
In total, the skylight adds up to 103 m2 and an approximate installed power is 6 kWp, enough to feed 350 light points and avoid 119 tons of Co2 into the atmosphere.
With this Photovoltaic installation, the Almeria city council joins a long list of sustainable city councils around the world that have chosen Onyx solar glass to improve their facilities.
