NEW CONSTRUCTION
Onyx Solar designed and supplied a photovoltaic ventilated façade for Fortlev Solar’s headquarters in Vitória, Brazil, creating a seamless blend of sustainability and modern architecture. The façade utilizes high-performance amorphous silicon glass panels, which are renowned for their ability to generate clean energy while offering excellent thermal insulation. This integration supports Fortlev's commitment to reducing its environmental impact.
The installation features 68 fully opaque and 68 semi-transparent glass units, each carefully customized to meet the client’s aesthetic and functional needs. The glass units are configured with a 3+4 laminated design, ensuring durability and safety, while also improving the building’s overall energy efficiency. By using this system, Fortlev Solar's headquarters reduces its reliance on traditional energy sources, benefiting from renewable energy while enhancing the building’s visual appeal. This project is a prime example of how photovoltaic technology can be harmoniously integrated into a commercial building, providing both environmental benefits and architectural innovation.
