The Duques of Soria University Campus, dependent on the University of Valladolid (UVa), will have an R + D + I building that will be unique in the world, from the point of view of energy efficiency, since it will not only generate energy for its self-sufficiency but will also contribute to producing positive balances in carbon generation.
The sustainable and technological building with ‘efficiency A’ will be by itself “a research center” since it will allow to combine of various energies and for architects and engineers to obtain data that can be applied in the field of energy efficiency.
The new building has been designed by Francisco Valbuena, an architect recently awarded at the Paris Climate Change Summit.
This architect has to his credit the design of the Lucia Building, the most sustainable in Europe that also seeks to become a tourist attraction and a center of attention for the sector.
There will be nothing similar in the world and it will be one of the outstanding works from the point of view of energy efficiency.
"The building will convey a warm image of a city that looks towards modernity, technology and the transfer of knowledge",
