Onyx Solar has provided cutting-edge solar technology for the installation of a photovoltaic curtain wall at Saltoki’s sales point in Valencia, located in the Quartz de Vara Industrial Park on the city's outskirts. This project exemplifies Saltoki’s commitment to incorporating renewable energy solutions into its infrastructure, setting new standards for sustainable building design. The photovoltaic curtain wall features 68 crystalline silicon photovoltaic glass units, each measuring 2,143 x 1,078 mm with a 6T+6T glass configuration. The system is fitted with side inserts, enabling seamless integration into the building’s façade.
The glass units, with a 50% light transmission, allow natural light to illuminate the interior, reducing the need for artificial lighting and cutting energy costs. Additionally, a 16 mm argon chamber enhances thermal and acoustic insulation, ensuring comfort for both visitors and employees.
With a peak power capacity of 16 kWp, the curtain wall significantly boosts the building's energy efficiency.
