NEW CONSTRUCTION

Located in the Bronx, across from the St. Barnabas Hospital campus, this project features two residential towers separated by a landscaped terrace atop a mixed-use base. Together, the 11-story and 7-story towers offer 181 affordable apartments, encompassing approximately 187,000 square feet of residential space, with sustainable energy at the core of the design. Dattner Architects is the architecture firm in charge of the project.

The north tower includes a photovoltaic canopy using Onyx Solar’s crystalline silicon glass, installed to generate clean energy for the building. A total of 44 photovoltaic glass units, have been integrated into the canopy. Each unit measures 1,977 x 1,009 mm, with an individual power capacity of 291W. The complete system reaches a total power capacity of 13 kWp, providing free and renewable energy to support the energy needs of these two residential towers.
