  • Bell Works

    Bell Works

Bell Works is the product of the successful revitalization of the two-million-square-foot Bell Laboratories in Holmdel, New Jersey. The mixed-use ‘metroburb’ is now a popular destination to work, shop, dine and more. Onyx Solar has supplied Bell Works with amorphous silicon photovoltaic glass panes, to cover a total area of 60,000 sq ft, and create the largest photovoltaic skylight in the USA. Because Bell Works is a landmark protected building, Onyx Solar had to design glass panes similar to the original ones. These glass modules provide this multipurpose building with a lot of natural lighting by capturing daylight and are also able to produce electricity free of CO2 emissions.
