Refurbishment of building using photovoltaic glass

Onyx Solar develops multifunctional solutions capable of aesthetically integrating photovoltaic technology in historic buildings, opening a new horizon in the rehabilitation of buildings.

 

The photovoltaic technology improves the energetic conditions of the buildings, turning into more efficient those that were not conceived under the modern parameters of sustainability and energetic efficiency. This contribution is made from the utmost respect to the original aesthetics of the building using solutions "of low visual impact" in architectures representative of the artistic-cultural heritage of a city.

 

 

These images belong to the rehabilitation of the historic Bell Works building, last century it was Bell Laboratories, nowadays it is using photovoltaic glass for their three skylights, producing 89.552 kWh of energy every year.
