The tilt degree is the PV Glass angle from horizontal: Tilt 0º = horizontal and tilt 90º = vertical. The optimized tilt considered is based on the location's latitude less 10, following the Eurocodes and European Directive 2012/27/EU. These estimated values are calculated considering the price of electricity of Los Angeles at $0.16 per kWh, and a 2% electricity price inflation for the square foot examples and the price of electricity of Madrid at 0,24 per kWh, and a 2% electricity price inflation for the square meter examples. The photovoltaic estimation has been calculated using PVsyst V5.11, and it considers a 16% loss associated with the Balance of System. System losses from PV Glass power degradation have also been considered. Optimized tilt considered is 30º for both examples.
